## Setting up Zoom for streams via Kinescope

Zoom is a tool for online meetings, webinars, and conferences. You can stream a Zoom meeting or webinar through Kinescope via RTMP: Zoom sends the stream, and Kinescope delivers it to viewers. Viewers watch the broadcast in a browser, without installing Zoom. To learn about automatic recording import from Zoom, see [Integration with Zoom](https://docs.kinescope.com/integrations/integration-with-zoom/). Below is a step-by-step guide to configuring Zoom for use with Kinescope.

### Step 1: Configure the stream in Kinescope

1. Create a stream in Kinescope as described in [Step 2 of the OBS Studio setup](https://docs.kinescope.com/live-streams/live-stream-guide/obs-studio-and-zoom-setup/#step-2-configure-the-stream-in-kinescope).
2. On the stream page, in the "Connect your encoding software" block, copy the **RTMP URL** and **Stream key**.
3. Click the "Link" button → "Copy" to get the stream link. Viewers will watch the broadcast at this link.

### Step 2: Configure the stream in Zoom

You can configure the stream in Zoom in two ways: in advance for a scheduled meeting, or during a meeting or webinar.

#### For a scheduled meeting

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. Click ["Meetings"](https://zoom.us/meeting/schedule).
3. Click "Schedule a Meeting" and enter the required information to [schedule a meeting](https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0060700).
4. Click "Save" to display a set of tabs with additional options.
5. Go to the "Live Streaming" tab, then click "Configure Custom Streaming Service".
6. Paste the **RTMP URL** and **Stream key** copied from Kinescope into Zoom.

8. Optional: under "Resolution", select "Standard HD (720P)" or "Full HD (1080P)".
9. Click "Save" to save the streaming settings. The host will then be able to livestream the meeting without having to enter these settings after the meeting starts.

#### During a meeting or webinar

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. Click "Settings".
3. Click "In Meeting (Advanced)" and enable "Allow livestreaming of meetings".
4. Select "Custom Live Streaming Service".
5. Click "Save" to save the meeting settings.
6. Start the livestream in Zoom.
7. Click "More" in the host controls, then select "Livestream" → "Live on Custom Streaming Service".
8. Fill in the form with the data from Kinescope: Stream URL — the **RTMP URL**, Stream Key — the **Stream key**, Live Streaming Page URL — the stream link.

### Step 3: Check the stream

Once the livestream starts in Zoom, Kinescope receives the stream and delivers it to your viewers. Go to the Kinescope dashboard and make sure the stream status is "Active" and the image is displayed correctly in the player.
