# Embedding on WordPress


The Kinescope plugin for WordPress lets you add a video player to pages and posts using a shortcode or widget. The plugin supports all Kinescope features, including content protection, player customization, and analytics.

## **Installing the plugin**

1. Go to the WordPress admin panel.
2. In the left menu, select **"Plugins"** → **"Add New"**.
3. In the search bar, enter **"Kinescope"**.
4. Click **"Install"**, then **"Activate"**.

Or [download the plugin](https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/kinescope.0.1.1.zip) and upload it to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.

## **Using the plugin**

After installing the plugin, you'll be able to add video. This can be done in several ways: via an embed element or using the page editor.

1. Integrate the player via an embed element.
2. Specify the video link.

If you use a page editor such as Elementor or Bricks, a Kinescope icon will be available there. Specify the video link.
